Touch of new tech in Agro-Tech fair

DHAKA: Modern technology makes the farmer more modern and their livelihood have been changed by accepting the blessings of that technology.

Before using the technologies, the farmers of the country had to do hard labor for paddy cultivation.

But, now time changed. The farmers have no need to do much hard work as they welcomed the modern technology in farming.
 
‘The 5th International Agriculture Technology Fair-2015’ is underway on Friday at Bashundhara Convention Centre aimed at showcasing modern technologies and providing attendees valuable information about those.

In the fair, a gathering of researchers, producers, importers, technology users and marketing entrepreneurs of domestic and international farms was seen in the fair venue.

The participants are displaying the latest Agriculture Chemicals innovations, trends, and news from around the world.

Rural Development Board (RDB) of Bogra and LIMRA Trade Fairs & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd. has organized the three-day fair to introduce all the new agriculture technologies.

Besides Bangladesh, over 100 organizations of 14 countries including India, US, Netherland, China, Germany, Korea, Turkey, Spain, Japan, Taiwan, Italy and Canada joined the fair.

Director of RDA engineer M Nazrul Islam Khan told banglanews, “Our main objective is to introduce the people with latest agricultural technologies and encourage them to use those in farming.”

Earlier on Thursday, Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Minister Syed Ashraful Islam inaugurated the fair.
