FROM MALAYSIA: Malaysia, a country with abundant natural beauty, is famous for medical treatment and education. The country has another attraction for many because of its moderate climate.
Malaysia is not only developed in Asia but is recognized as a developed nation in the globe. It is considered as a model country in the world in the field of education, culture, science and technology. So, the whole world is looking at this country.
Malaysia has done tremendous development in education sector. There are numerous high ranking educational institutions across the country. Students of many countries including those of southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa are studying here.
A large number of students from Bangladesh are going there for study. Malaysia has become a popular destination for Bangladeshi students. Director of Asia region of Lincoln Universality SM Zahirul Islam Sabuj has explained why Malaysia has a liking for Bangladeshi students.
He said that Malaysia is an important country for higher education. Here in this country various professional and specialized courses are taught side by side with higher education. Students from across the globe are going to Malaysia for quality education at a less expense.
Many noted universities of UK and Australia have opened their branches in Malaysia. Again, USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand are jointly conducting courses with Malaysian universities.
Lincoln University is comparatively less expensive in many of the Asian countries where quality education is ensured. Zahirul Islam Sabuj told Banglanews that Lincoln University makes a person perfect by imparting quality education suited for the modern world.
About the aims and objectives of Lincoln University Sabuj said that with proper education, training and counseling, the university plays the role of human resource development and improve their socio-economic condition.
Lincoln University is playing a very positive role in learning and acquiring practical knowledge. It also encourages development of creative learning among the students.
Sabuj further said that typed education does not help build a good citizen. One learner must acquire human qualities and moral development along with educational pursuits.
The university is firm to keep its quality unhindered gradually. So, it helps a learner be a good citizen along with acquiring moral values.
According to him, Lincoln University is committed to run the institution in a well-planned manner to ensure quality education and for a golden future. Illiteracy is a curse and chained a man and an illiterate cannot make any contribution to the nation.
Many Bangladeshi students are now studying in Lincoln University. The vice-chancellor of this university is very much cordial to them as a result their EMGS fees are borne by the university.
Sabuj added that the university is also operating three campuses in Bangladesh because of its unfettered love for Bangladesh where there are 70-80 officers employed.
There are more three institutions in Bangladesh namely, Lincoln International school and college, Lincoln Medical Assistant Training School and Lincoln College.
Sabuj said that the university is planning to set up educational institutions across Bangladesh.
