DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses --- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed gain in early hours of trading on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.
DSEX, the Broad Index of the DSE, rose over by 7.23 points or 0.16 per cent to 4513.94 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:25 am.
Trade deals stood at 35457 with volume of transactions at Tk 1229.09 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 115 advanced, 96 declined and 42 remained unchanged.
TOSRIFA was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 126.49 million changing hands till then followed by UNITEDAIR, BEXIMCO, SUMITPOWER, FAMILYTEX and KPCL.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 12.02 points to 8435.99, also at 11:26 am.
Of the issues traded till then, 64 gained, 45 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
