3rd aircraft added to US-Bangla airlines fleet

DHAKA: US Bangla Airlines, 2014’s best private airlines in domestic routes, added third aircraft ‘DASH-8-Q400’ to its fleet on Friday

The aircraft, brought by Islami Bank’s funding, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in afternoon of the day.

Company’s senior officers including its managing director M Abdullah Al Mamun received the plane.

With the new aircraft, the airlines will launch flights on Dhaka-Rajshahi and Dhaka Barisal routes as well as increase flight frequencies on the existing routes from July 5 this year.

The private airlines is currently operating highest numbers of flights in domestic routes.

The US Bangla Airlines is also preparing to launch flights on different international routes including Nepal, Bhutan, Kolkata, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Mascot and Jeddah this year.

US-Bangla Airlines, only ISO certified airlines in Bangladesh, had started its operation in July 17, 2014.

It is operating flights with Bombardier manufactured Dash 8 Q400 aircrafts. Seat configuration is 76.
