DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday.
DSEX, the key index of DSE, shed over seven point to stand at 4503.98 at the close on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 88329 with transaction at Tk 3805.14 million. Of the issues traded, 112 advanced, 144 declined and 44 remained unchanged.
TITASGAS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 171.60 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were UNITEDAIR, BXPHARMA, BEXIMCO, KPCL, SQURPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, GP, BSRMLTD and MJLBD.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8476.50 by gaining over 20.70 points.
Out of the issues traded, 30 gained, 116 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
