DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) --on Thursday.
DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, shed over 1.96 points only to stand at 4455.28 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 96,786 with volume of transactions at Tk 3466.21 million.
Of the issues traded, 124 advanced, 149 declined and 45 remained unchanged.
OAL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 396.38 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, AFCAGRO, LAFSURCEML, KPCL, SAIFPOWER, IFADAUTOS, BEXIMCO, TOSRIFA and UNITEDAIR.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8349.83 by dropping over 19.97 points.
Out of the issues traded, 68 gained, 133 declined and 30 remained unchanged.
