DHAKA: Country’s foreign exchange reserves reached a record high $25.2 billion (Tk 195,946.25 crore) on Thursday.
Confirming the matter, BB general manager ASM Asaduzzaman told banglanews that the latest increase to the reserves can help the country to cover its import bill for almost seven months, according to analysts.
Earlier on April 29 last year, Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves had reached a record high of $24 billion.
