DHAKA: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) organized a discussion on ‘Role of Ramadan in purifying wealth and soul’ and an ifter mahfil at a city hotel on Monday.

IBBL chairman Engineer Mustafa Anwar presided over the program, attended by Executive Committee chairman Engineer M Eskander Ali Khan and Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Mannan.

National University associate professor Dr Mohammad Manzur-e-Elahi and also a member of shariah supervisory committee of IBBL discussed on the topic, among others.

Judges, diplomats, industrialists, businesspersons, journalists, intellectuals, ulemas, professionals, elites and dignitaries of the society also attended the function.
