DHAKA: The World Bank (WB) will provide 473 million USD as loan for the development projects on disaster management and economic progress.
The agreements were signed at NEC conference centre in city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Tuesday.
Economic Relation Division (ERD) senior secretary Mohamamd Mejbahuddin and World Bank Dhaka acting country head Christine E Kimes signed the agreements on behalf of their respective sides.
However, the agreements were signed on Financial Sector Support Project and Bangladesh Urban Resilience Project.
The World Bank will provide 300 million USD and for Financial Sector Support Project and 173 million USD for Bangladesh Urban Resilience Project.
