DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) --on Thursday.
DSEX, the key index of DSE, shed over 10.52 points only to stand at 4572.58 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 129241 with volume of transactions at Tk 5046.24 million.
Of the issues traded, 140 advanced, 124 declined and 48 remained unchanged.
OAL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 317.67 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were UNITEDAIR, BEXIMCO, APOLOISPAT, UPGDCL, GP, BXPHARMA, KPCL, IFADAUTOS and FARCHEM
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8583.53 by dropping over 0.58 points.
Out of the issues traded, 112 gained, 99 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
