Inward remittances cross 15b USD

DHAKA: Bangladesh received over 15 billion US Dollar in inward remittance, marking the highest growth ever, during 2014-15 fiscal year.

While the remittance, growth has been marked 7.60 percent, confirmed AFM Asaduzzaman, General Manager of Bangladesh Bank on Thursday.

He added remittance flow was 14 billion US Dollar in 2013-14 FY.

AFM Asaduzzaman added various motivations to expatriates and stable currency rate helped us to touch the milestone.
