DHAKA: Major General (retd) Amjad Khan Chowdhury, founder and CEO of Pran-RFL Group, one of the leading business conglomerates of the country, breathed his last at Duke Medical Hospital in North Carolina of USA on Wednesday.

He was 76.

Amjad Khan Chowdhury was under treatment at the hospital for last one month as he was suffering from diabetic and heart diseases.

Youngest son of Amjad Khan Chowdhury, Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, deputy managing director of Pran-RFL, sought everyone’s prayers.

He also said that Amjad Khan Chowdhury will be buried at military graveyard in Dhaka.
