DHAKA: Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) hosted a grand Iftar Mehfil on Tuesday at the Banquet Hall of Gardinia, Gulshan in city.
It was arranged as a tradition of BMCCI to organize a gathering each year and celebrate the month of Holy Ramadan.
Later, in conjunction with the Iftar Mehfil, BMCCI launched its webpage bmcci.org.bd, says a press release issued on Tuesday.
Norlin Binti Othman, High Commissioner of Malaysia and patron of BMCCI was present in the program as the Chief Guest.

Former President of BMCCI Syed Moazzam Hossain said that BMCCI has been working to increase trade and investment between the two countries.
He said the chamber will arrange Showcase Malaysia from 15 to 17 October, this year in Dhaka to increase trade between the two countries.
“Two Malaysian business delegations are expected to participate in the Showcase”, he said.
The program was attended by representatives of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) and other joint chambers.
In addition, many elite business personalities of Bangladesh were invited to the event. Majority of the guests comprised of members and stakeholders of BMCCI.
The program was presided by Nasir A Choudhury, President of BMCCI, who welcomed the guests.
