DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- on Monday.
DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, shed over 11.21 points only to stand at 4775.27 at the close on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 139936 with volume of transactions at Tk 6482.39 million.
Of the issues traded, 129 advanced, 149 declined and 40 remained unchanged.
LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 356.23 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were RAKCERAMIC, DESCO, SQURPHARMA, SPCL, ACI, BSRMLTD, GP, OAL and KPCL.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8906.71 by dropping over 25.07 points.
Out of the issues traded, 83 gained, 131 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
