Stocks end lower Wednesday

DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall again in its price indices on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week..

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 19.26 points only to stand at 4777.9 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 141189 with volume of transactions at Tk 6302.37 million.

Of the issues traded, 145 advanced, 138 declined and 32 remained unchanged.



BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 261.32 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, KPCL, LAFSURCEML, BEXIMCO, MJLBD, FAMILYTEX, UNITEDAIR, FARCHEM     and PLFSL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8921.18 by dropping over 41.20 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 89 gained, 132 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
