DHAKA: Agha Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) and Bangladesh-based international development organization BRAC have signed a deal regarding strategic partnership.
A press release sent on Saturday said that the deal, which was signed recently, has made BRAC a stakeholder of Industrial Promotion Development Company of Bangladesh (IPDC).
According to the release, the strategic partnership will enhance the capacity of ICDP and increase the production in all industrial sectors in the country.
BRAC chairperson Sir Fazle Hasan Abed said that the organizations BRAC and AKFED aim to bring the IPDC growth to a new height by providing service in economic sector, based on social responsibilities, the release added.
