DHAKA: Foreign Exchange reserve in Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Monday crossed US $26-billion.
Country’s central bank said that the reserve of foreign exchange is around $26.03 billion for the positive trend of remittances and controlling unnecessary imports.
Earlier on June 25, the reserve crossed US $25-billion for the first time.
BB also said country’s economy can face any kind of internal and external shock and can meet seven months’ import expenditure.
