DHAKA: A three-day Asian Tourism Fair will begin at Bashundhara International Convention City (ICCB) in Dhaka on Thursday (August 27).
Monthly magazine on tourism ‘Parjatan Bichitra’ will organize the fourth edition of the fair in cooperation with Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB) and Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC).
The organizers made the assertion at a press conference at National Press Club in city on Tuesday noon.
According to them, a total of 120 stalls will be set up in the fair, to be open from 10:00am to 9:00pm till August 29.
Tourism organizations from India, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Philippines, Uzbekistan and Singapore are expected to participate in the fair.
Entry fee of the fair will be Tk 20 for each while it will be free for students.
‘Parjatan Bichitra’ editor Mohiuddin Helal said that this year’s fair will display information about several important tourist spots both at home and abroad and offer special packages.
The participating organizations will also arrange booking for tours with attractive concessions.
