DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 12.72 points to stand at 4805.65 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 99720 with transaction at Tk 4317.54 million. Of the issues traded, 160 advanced, 106 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

SQURPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 206.76 million having changed hands.



The other turnover leaders were ISLAMIBANK, SPCL, AL-HAJTEX, IFADAUTOS, APEXTANRY, FARCHEM, UPGDCL, LAFSURCEML and NFML.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8961.87 by gaining over 20.84 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 122 gained, 84 declined and 40 remained unchanged.
