DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed upward trend in early hours of trading on Wednesday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, gained by 28.93 points or 0.61 per cent to 4753.45 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:24am.
Trade deals stood at 22665 with volume of transactions at Tk 772.06 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 176 advanced, 59 declined and 39 remained unchanged.
AMANFEED was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 69.52 million changing hands till then followed by SQURPHARMA, IBNSINA, KBPPWBIL, SAIFPOWER and NFML.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed positive trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 39.91 points to 8867.68, also at 11:36am.
Of the issues traded till then, 110 gained, 28 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
