DHAKA: The sixth joint executive committee meeting between Bangladesh and Malaysia will be held in city on Monday.
A five-member delegation led by Malaysia human resource department secretary general Saripuddin Kahim had reached Dhaka on Saturday.
The visiting team will hold the meeting at expatriate welfare and overseas employment ministry on Monday regarding the process of manpower export to the country.
The meeting has regularly been arranging between the governments since 2012 after signing the Government to Government (G2G) agreement.
Expatriate secretary Iftekhar Haidar will lead Bangladesh team.
Moreover, the Malaysian delegation is scheduled to meet expatriate welfare and overseas employment minister Nurul Islam BSC.
According to the sources, the upcoming meeting will also discuss about the alternative ways of exporting manpower besides the G2G system.
Earlier, Malaysia government announced to take five lakh workers from Bangladesh.
