‘SMS Alert Banking Service’ for Bank Alfalah

DHAKA: ‘SMS Alert Banking Service’ has been introduced in Bank Alfalah, owned and operated by the Abu Dhabi Group.

Software Shop Limited (SSL Wireless), a leading mobile solution provider of the country, launched the service for the bank’s customers.

A signing ceremony was organized on the occasion at Bank Alfalah’s Country Office on September 13, said a press release.

According to the organizers, as SMS service has now become a common feature in the banking sector, SSL has been the first to introduce SMS banking service for banks in Bangladesh and have been successfully providing the solution for six years to more than 30 Banks.

SMS Banking Service will enhance Bank Alfalah’s image and service towards the customers, the released added.

By the launching of the SMS Banking Service, Bank Alfalah’s customers will get an intelligent system that will provide the benefits of daily messages keeping them aware of every transaction, warn them when certain critical limits are reached and send them promotional messages on new services offered by Bank Alfalah.

The release further said that in future the account holders of Bank Alfalah will be able to make payment of utility bills, mobile airtime recharge and online purchase through internet banking service.

SAA Masrur, Country Head of Bank Alfalah, Muhammad Imran, Country Credit Head, Ehsanul Haque Qureshi, Country Head of Operations, Tarek Reaz Khan, Head of Retail and Md Taslimul Haque, Head of IT of the Bank were present at occasion.

Sayeeful Islam, Managing Director of SSL Wireless, Ashish Chakraborty, General Manager, Shahzada Redwan, Head of Engineering, Iftekhar Alam Ishaque, Head of Planning and Saud Bin Jahan, Manager BFSI of SSL Wireless along with other high officials of both organizations were also present at the ceremony.
