DSE, CSE up at opening

DSE, CSE up at opening

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Sunday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 7.25 points or 0.15 per cent to 4826.71 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:26am.

Trade deals stood at 21161 with volume of transactions at Tk 920.62 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 140 advanced, 68 declined and 48 remained unchanged.



UPGDCL was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 65.48 million changing hands till then followed by AMANFEED, SAPORTL, APOLOISPAT, IFADAUTOS and SPCL.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 22.44 points to 9008.92, also at 11:28am.

Of the issues traded till then, 70 gained, 39 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
