DHAKA: National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline by two months for taxpayers to file income tax returns for 2015-16 tax year.

NBR public relations officer Syed A Mymen confirmed the matter to banglanews on Wednesday.

The taxpayers who were yet to submit tax returns could do so before Novembers 30.

The deadline for income tax return submission has been expire on September 30.
