DHAKA: The first ever Bangladesh–Spain Multilateral Partnership Meeting will begin on Tuesday at the Le Meridien Hotel in Dhaka aiming to promote collaboration between companies of two countries.
The two-day long Multilateral Partnership Meeting offers companies of Bangladesh the opportunity to meet leading and state of the art Spanish companies, with great international expertise in the following fields such Transport Infrastructure, Environment (water and waste management) and Energy (conventional and renewable)
Bangladesh German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI) informed the matter to media.
BGCCI said Spanish companies are looking towards Bangladesh as a rapidly emerging new market with a resilient economy and are searching for local partners with whom to establish alliances in order to approach international funded projects with stronger capabilities.
The aim of this event is to promote collaboration between Bangladesh and Spanish companies in order to foster their participation in different projects promoted and financed both by international funds and Bangladesh Government, said the organization of two countries’ businessmen.
The Multilateral Partnerships expected to reenergize the existing excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
The event will be attended by Spanish authorities as well as their counterparts from Bangladesh institutions, said the press release.
This Meeting is envisaged as a strong platform of quality dialogue to be maintained at the highest level, which will enable the participants to explore new investment and business opportunities, and reinforce the strategic partnership, by improving the respective knowledge between both countries and international institutions, it added.
The two-day business event will be arranged The Embassy of Spain and the Spanish Trade and Investment Institute (ICEX) in association with Bangladesh German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI).
