AKHAURA, BRAHMANBARIA: Export and import through Akhaura land port will remain suspended for 10 days on the occasion of Duga Puja, the main festival of Bengali Hindu community 

The holidays will begin from October 19 and end on October 28, Akhaura Land port Duty Officer Sirajul Islam told banglanews.

But the movement of passport-holding travelers will remain normal, he added.

Besides, October 21, 22 fish will be exported through the port. Moreover, port immigration will remain open for travelers while Sonali Bank special branch booth tor the collection of travel tax.
