DSE, CSE up at opening

DSE, CSE up at opening

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Monday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 8.96 points or 0.19 per cent to 4658.24 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:20am.

Trade deals stood at 24342 with volume of transactions at Tk 1304.40 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 144 advanced, 70 declined and 47 remained unchanged.



CVOPRL was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 69.28 million changing hands till then followed by IFADAUTOS, SPCL, CNATEX, IBNSINA and KDSALTD.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index gaining 8.59 points to 8644.44, also at 11:20am.

Of the issues traded till then, 64 gained, 40 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
