Stocks end week negative

DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 14.88 points only to stand at 4564.48 at the closure of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 91442 with volume of transactions at Tk 4560.45 million.

Of the issues traded, 114 advanced, 151 declined and 54 remained unchanged.

KPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 184.14 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, SPCL, IFADAUTOS, ACI, LAFSURCEML, GP, BXPHARMA, BARKAPOWER and SINGERBD.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8488.73 by dropping over 24.17 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 68 gained, 134 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
