AKHAURA (BRAHMANBARIA): Export and import activities have resumed on Thursday in Akhaura land port in Brahmanbaria after a vacation of 10 days.
The port activities started this morning with the export of fish from Bangladesh to India.
Akhaura land port assistant customs official Mohammad Mizanur Rahman told banglanews that the port activities have resumed as fish and other Bangladeshi goods have been exported to India this morning.
However, the port was closed for 10 days following the decision of the businesspeople of Bangladesh and India on the occasions of Durga Puja and Laxmi Puja.
