DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – downward trend in early hours of trading on Wednesday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went down 22.08 points or 0.48 per cent to 4529.42 after the first one and half hour of trade at 11:50am.
Trade deals stood at 25261 with volume of transactions at Tk 957.57 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 65 advanced, 158 declined and 52 remained unchanged.
IFADAUTOS was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 56.86 million changing hands till then followed by QSMDRYCELL, KDSALTD, ICB, BSCCL and RAKCERAMI.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed fall in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 48.71 points to 8419.45, also at 11:48am.
Of the issues traded till then, 26 gained, 105 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
