DSE, CSE down after early gain

DHAKA: After early hours’ gain, trading at the country’s two bourses is underway showing fall in share-price indices on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 9.72 points to stand at 4423.85 at 1:30pm.

Trade deals stood at 50155 with transaction at Tk 1580.22 million.

Of the issues traded, 115 advanced, 135 declined and nine 54 remained unchanged.



TITASGAS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 122.85 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8219.41 by dropping over 12.85 points at 1:38pm.

Out of the issues traded, 73 gained, 107 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
