DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 24.87 points to stand at 4556.50 at 12:39pm.
After a one and half our delay due to technical glitch, trade deals stood at 21857 with transaction at Tk 836.54 million.
Of the issues traded, 161 advanced, 57 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
IFADAUTOS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 84.14 million having changed hands during the time.
Earlier, Sunday’s trading at Dhaka Stocks Exchange (DSE), which was scheduled to start at 10:30am, has been delayed for one and half hour due to technical problems.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8449.09by gaining over 32.40 points at 12:40pm.
Out of the issues traded, 113 gained, 49 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
