DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses-- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the general index of DSE, shed over 2.38 points or 0.05 per cent to 4578.37 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:29am.

Trade deals stood at 29706 with transaction at Tk 1291.78 million. Of the issues traded, 102 advanced, 110 declined and 52 remained unchanged.

BSRMSTEEL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 123.00 million having changed hands during the time.



Besides, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index climbed up to 8519.21 by gaining over 12.47 points at 11:26 am.

Out of the issues traded, 56 gained, 47 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
