Govt to form business council with EU

DHAKA: Government will form a business council with the European Union (EU) involving Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA).

Commerce minister Tofail Ahmed informed the media after a meeting with EU envoy to Bangladesh Pierre Mayaudon on Monday (November 30).

The minister said that 25 members of eight EU member states will be included in the council.
