DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Wednesday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 11.70 points or 0.25 per cent to 4633.38 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:47am.
Trade deals stood at 44045 with volume of transactions at Tk 1990.76 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 143 advanced, 79 declined and 65 remained unchanged.
BSRMSTEEL was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 220.31 million changing hands till then followed by ACTIVEFINE, FARCHEM, AMANFEED and BXPHARMA.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 20.58 points to 8617.45, also at 11:44am.
Of the issues traded till then, 93 gained, 48 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
