Govt bans raw jute export

DHAKA: The government has ordered to stop export of raw jute till the issuance of next directives.

The ministry of textiles and jute issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday.

It said export of raw jute was forbidden for implementing the Mandatory Jute Packaging Act-2010 properly.
