DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Sunday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 31.91 points or 0.68 per cent to 4672.95 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:47am.
Trade deals stood at 47081 with volume of transactions at Tk 2003.88 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 174 advanced, 74 declined and 48 remained unchanged.
DELTALIFE was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 124.45 million changing hands till then followed by QSMDRYCELL, MICEMENT, KDSALTD and SAIFPOWER.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 31.60 points to 8683.33, also at 11:44am.
Of the issues traded till then, 93 gained, 53 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
