DSE, CSE witnessing fall

DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week. 

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 23.43 points to stand at 4631.30 at 11:39am.

Trade deals stood at 37139 with volume of transactions at Tk 1469.14 million.

Of the issues traded, 90 advanced, 138 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

QSMDRYCELL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 146.37 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8608.98 by dropping over 55.11 points at about 11:38am.

Out of the issues traded, 47 gained, 97 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
