AKHAURA (BRAHMANBARIA): The import and export activities will remain closed at Akhaura land port in Brahmanbaria district on Wednesday (December 9).

The activities will be closed on the day due to municipal polls in India province of Tripura.

Akhaura land port assistant customs official Mizanur Rahman told banglanews the businesspeople of Bangladesh and India have taken decision to keep export and import activities closed on December 9 due to municipal polls in Tripura.

But the immigration activities will remain normal, he added.

According to him, the export-import activities will resume on Thursday morning (December 10).
