DSE, CSE up at opening

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Wednesday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 6.87 points or 0.14 per cent to 4600.35 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:56am.

Trade deals stood at 38107 with volume of transactions at Tk 1427.50 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 148 advanced, 89 declined and 61 remained unchanged.

AFTABAUTO was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 118.93 million changing hands till then followed by BXPHARMA, DELTALIFE, QSMDRYCELL, BSRMSTEEL and KEYACOSMET.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 12.85 points to 8547.33, also at 11:54am.

Of the issues traded till then, 82 gained, 57 declined and 42 remained unchanged.
