DHAKA: Marcel, a local electronic products manufacturing company, is now offering conditional six months replacement warranty for its LED (Light Emitting Diode) televisions, started from December 1.
Along with the replacement warranty, the customers will also enjoy two years warranty for panel, spare parts and services of LED television.
Besides, the local brand has cut down the prices of its some models of LED televisions by Tk 1,000 to 2,000, said a press release.
Marcel has taken such initiative to enhance the customers’ satisfaction.
The production of LED TVs at its own factory is resulted in maintaining highest level of quality control and also reducing the prices of some models of LED televisions.
According to Marcel authorities, they have cut down the price of 24-inch LED TV to Tk 17,700 from Tk 18,700. From now on, the customer can also buy a Marcel brand 28-inch LED TV at Tk 23,700 while the earlier price was Tk 25,100.
Reducing the price of 32-inch LED TV by Tk 2,000, Marcel is now offering it at Tk 26,300, the release added.
Marcel head of marketing (north) Mosharraf Hossain Razib said Marcel is now one of the most popular brands of Bangladesh. Manufacturing world-class LED televisions with latest technology, advanced machineries, highly skilled and experienced engineers, Marcel won the customers’ faith, he added.
“Aiming to uphold the customers’ faith through offering enormous facilities, we have announced conditional six months replacement warranty on LED televisions,” he said.
As the production cost of LED television has come down, the prices of some models of LED TV were cut down to give the advantage of production cost reduction to the customers, he added.
In addition, Marcel is now manufacturing world-class high technology based LED TVs at affordable rates, he said adding, they are offering high quality LED televisions at the prices of CRT TVs considering the purchasing abilities of lower income groups.
Head of marketing (south) Shamim Al Mamum said the local brand Marcel is now getting popularity year on year. The product quality of the local company is now better than earlier. To increase the products’ acceptability among the customers, Marcel has offered a six-month replacement facility for its televisions, he added.
‘In future, we will offer more facilities for the valued customers,” he added.
It was learnt that Marcel brand LED televisions are being produced through a full-functional latest production line. The local company has set up separate manufacturing lines for plastic cabinet, speaker, remote control, motherboard and panel, which resulted in making Bangladesh self-sufficient for producing LED televisions and strictly maintaining the highest quality.
For producing basic raw materials and equipment in the own factory, Marcel has been able to cut down the production cost of their LED televisions.
Recently, Marcel has released some models of LED TV at the prices of CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) TVs, specially, for the customers who are belonging to the lower income group aiming to bring the benefits of technological advancement towards the customers’ doorstep.
Engineer Mostafa Nahid Hossain, senior assistant director (sourcing engineering dept) of Marcel, said, the prime features of Marcel brand LED televisions are the application of world’s latest HADS (High Advance Super Dimension Switch) and IPS (In-Plan Switching) technology panel.
These technologies ensure wide viewing angles nearly 170-178-degree angles to the viewers for getting clear and sharper images and consume comparatively less electricity.
To ensure the highest quality of picture and sound, world-class motherboard featuring with dynamic noise reduction, motion picture, highest frame rat and dolby digital sound is being used, he said adding, LED Panel with the combination of liquid crystal display, LED back light and various kinds of optical sheets ensures highest resolution, contrast ration and refresh rate.
