DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Monday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 2.04 points or 0.04 per cent to 4604.56 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:33am.
Trade deals stood at 23374 with volume of transactions at Tk 852.43 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 110 advanced, 98 declined and 63 remained unchanged.
QSMDRYCELL was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 58.31 million changing hands till then followed by BEXIMCO, EMERALDOIL, AL-HAJTEX and ACIFORMULA.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 8.84 points to 8550.63, also at 11:30am.
Of the issues traded till then, 72 gained, 53 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
