DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Monday, the second trading day of the week.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 10.18 points only to stand at 4592.33 at the close of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 94697 with volume of transactions at Tk 4133.13 million.
Of the issues traded, 102 advanced, 176 declined and 43 remained unchanged.
BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 184.79 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were QSMDRYCELL, BEXIMCO, ACI, IFADAUTOS, SQURPHARMA, EMERALDOIL, KDSALTD, AL-HAJTEX and BSRMSTEEL.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8522.24 by dropping over 19.53 points.
Out of the issues traded, 84 gained, 127 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
