DSE, CSE up at opening

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Thursday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 7.43 points or 0.16 per cent to 4612.34 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:51 am.

Trade deals stood at 26487 with volume of transactions at Tk 1070.22 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 95 advanced, 120 declined and 73 remained unchanged.

SAPORTL was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 111.33 million changing hands till then followed by     EMERALDOIL, ACIFORMULA, OLYMPIC and QSMDRYCELL.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index gaining 5.37 points to 8540.92, also at 11:48am.

Of the issues traded till then, 57 gained, 79 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
