DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Sunday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 6.90 points or 0.14 per cent to 4636.55 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:45am.
Trade deals stood at 27950 with volume of transactions at Tk 1047.65 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 130 advanced, 80 declined and 54 remained unchanged.
EMERALDOIL was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 89.29 million changing hands till then followed by BEXIMCO, KDSALTD, SAPORTL and BSRMLTD.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index gaining 25.65 points to 8597.77, also at 11:40am.
Of the issues traded till then, 84 gained, 42 declined and125 remained unchanged.
