DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses-- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Monday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, shed over 11.50 points to stand at 4612.51 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:35am.
Trade deals stood at 29198 with volume of transactions at Tk 1115.35 million.
Of the issues traded, 89 advanced, 105 declined and 63 remained unchanged.
BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 97.45 million having changed hands.
Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8577.29 by dropping over 6.84 points at about 11:32am.
Out of the issues traded, 51 gained, 48 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
