DHAKA: Wintex Resources has brought digital cutter with the capacity of 5.9-kw in their stall at the ongoing GarmenTex exposition at International Convention City of Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.

This new type of cutter saves about 88 percent electricity than the conventional cutter machines available in the market.

This Italian brand cutter of FK group emits carbon less than 12 metric tons a year.

So, this cutter is unparallel to lessen carbon emission side by side with laudable performance of cloth cutting. Though it is a bit costly than other varieties still it is business friendly, Wintex CEO Faruk Hossen Sarker informed this correspondent.

FK cutter is more than 40 percent productive than the other cutters. For this reason, the FK cutter has been controlling around 60 percent market of Bangladesh for past two years.

Wintex CEO further said that the rest 40 percent of the market is controlled by other cutters.

The electricity consumption by the other cutter is high. As for example the FK cutters consumes power costing Taka 750.00 for every twelve hours while other cutters consume power costing Taka 6,000.00 for the same time.

The consumer can bring out the monthly or annual bill by pressing one button.

This correspondent talked to Wintex CEO at Rajdarshan of the convention city. At that time Epic Group senior manager Engineer Shahiduzzaman Shimul was visiting Wintex stall.

Shimul said, ‘We are very happy by using FK cutter. We have set up this cutter in our Adamjee factory in last May. So far, we did not face any problem with the machine. We did not need to change any accessories.

The cutter machines of other companies need 45-50-kw of power while Wintex needs only 5.9-kw. Shimul further said that power use was far less than previous times. He added that they are planning to replace other machines by FK group cutting machines.

Wintex has also brought environment-friendly and power saving spreading machine.

The spreading machine within shorter time can spread the cutting fabrics which generally needs 20 workers.

FK group’s spreading machine, which requires 1.8-kw power, has come to local market in 2015. Wintex assistant manager (sales) said that there is no other machine in the market which consumes less power than Wintex.

According to him, FK brand has earned fame in global garments sector. World famous Germany’s electronic accessories made by Siemens have been used here.

This cutter, made by Robotic technology, has a remote system. FK cutter has got environment certificate much earlier.

Wintex is also doing the job of software developing along with marketing the cutter machine. They are helping other jobs right from setting machines to operation. They have got offices in Dhaka and Chittagong for rendering services.

According to the company official, they set up machines within two months from the date of booking.

Wintex along with the machines of cutting sections, they are also supplying other finishing and washing machines of Italy’s Rotondi Group. Special reduction is being given at the fairground after booking.

Wintex started their journey as the importer of FK group and has proved their efficiency within a short time. In return, FK group has nominated Wintex CEO as the director in Asia zone.

About GarmenTex exposition, the Wintex CEO said, ‘I am simply amazed at my first visit to ICCB. I have earlier taken part in many European fairs. Still, I am praising this exposition’.

According him, the hall rooms of Europe are not so much spacious.

Besides, the parking zone and its environment really have charmed Faruk Hossen.

Many have brought their families. They are also working as well as feeling relaxed, he added.

‘The whole arena was simply attractive when we found that many photo sessions are going on outside the stalls. Many want to keep the memories of ICCB by keeping the photos in frames,’ he added.
