DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing mixed trend in share-price indices on Sunday.

DSEX, the broad index of DSE, shed over 5.41 points to stand at 4689.53 after one and half hour of trading at 11:55 am.

Trade deals stood at 48048 with transaction at Tk 1953.14 million.

Of the issues traded, 101 advanced, 149 declined and 43 remained unchanged.



EMERALDOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 247.94 million having changed hands during the time.

Besides, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index climbed up to 8743.79 by gaining over 5.96 points at 11:50am.

Out of the issues traded, 57 gained, 109 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
