Ten students from the same centre were expelled in the Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh on suspicion of cheating during the HSC examination.
In this incident, a lecturer named Sadikur Rahman has also been dismissed for helping the expelled students.
The incident happened at 10:30 am on Sunday (June 30) at Mahmudpur Sahera Safayet School and College Center of the upazila.
Upazila executive officer Alinur Khan confirmed the matter, saying that 10 students and one teacher have been disciplined for wrongdoing during examinations.
According to report, a total of 29,682 students have participated in this HSC examination from Mymensingh district, of which 12,346 students are of Jamalpur, 10,666 students of Netrakona and 6,432 students of Sherpur are taking the exam.
