Hundreds of students of Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, and nearby institutions blocked the Science Lab intersection in the capital this morning protesting the reinstatement of the quota system in the Bangladesh government services.

They started their march from the Dhaka College campus and took position at Science Lab intersection around 10:36 am. 

Participants in the movement expressed their determination to continue protesting until the quota system in government jobs is abolished. 

The student called for an end to the special privileges granted to specific groups in government employment, warning that the nationwide movement would escalate in intensity.
